December 13, 2005 – Garfield Heights, OH – Chart Energy & Chemicals, Inc. (“Chart”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chart Industries Inc., has received an order for a piped assembly of six brazed aluminum heat exchangers for the Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited (PPGPL) facility in Trinidad. The heat exchanger assembly consists of six parallel heat exchangers connected by manifold piping and will replace an existing assembly, improving the plant’s performance. In response to the customer’s need for expedited delivery, Chart is expected to complete the exchangers and have them prepared to ship in early March 2006.

The new assembly will have Chart’s innovative and proprietary mercury-tolerant features as well as a methanol injection system to facilitate exchanger cleaning, unlike the older assembly.
